Describe a shot in writing and 3D STUDIO builds a 3D scene with the characters, props, paths and camera placed for you. Put people and props on the floor plan, set the path the camera travels, and that becomes a reference video (mp4).
It runs inside the web browser, with no 3D software to install.
It hands over the blocking, movement and camera work that are hard to put into words. Drop the reference video into the video tab or a CANVAS node and video generation picks up that arrangement.
| Part | Count | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Environments | 29 | Rooms, streets, stages, arenas. Picking one resizes the floor and walls with it |
| Props | 117 | 14 groups — furniture and interior, appliances, street and industrial, heavy equipment and cargo, sports, architecture and structures, roads and tunnels, cars, two-wheelers, rail air and sea, nature, animals, carried items, primitives |
| Poses and motions | 184 | 16 groups, searchable by Korean or English name |
| Lenses | 16 | 12mm to 150mm |
Instead of placing by hand, write the scene into Build 3D at the top right and the environment, characters, props and camera are laid out in one pass, ready to adjust afterwards. Add more adds only what you write, leaving the current scene in place.
The reference video is grey by default. Official guidance says a rough form carries blocking, movement and camera work better, and that material and lighting are better described in writing. Colour is available at export if you want it.
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Build a scene from writing (Claude Fable 5.1 · GPT 6 Astra) | 150 for 5 seconds — 110 plus 8 per second |
| Attach reference photos | At least 5 per photo |
| 3D file export (GLB, USD, USDZ) | 500 each |
Five seconds is the minimum length. Every model rate is published on the pricing page.
Anyone signed in can build a scene, with no top-up required. Gallery videos are viewable without signing in. The authoring screen opens on a desktop computer; on a phone you see the guide and example videos.
The same scene builder is also available as a 3D node inside the CANVAS node workspace. If a blank scene is daunting, open one of the built-in scenes from the Presets menu and work from how it is put together.
What is 3D STUDIO?
Describe a shot in writing and 3D STUDIO builds a 3D scene with the characters, props, paths and camera placed for you. Put people and props on the floor plan, set the path the camera travels, and that becomes a reference video (mp4). It is for handing over blocking, movement and camera work that are hard to put into words.
Do I need to install 3D software?
No. Everything runs inside the web browser. Because the work involves orbiting a scene and adjusting it, the authoring screen opens on a desktop computer. On a phone you see the guide and example videos.
What is included?
29 environments, 117 props across 14 groups, 184 poses and motions across 16 groups, and 16 lenses from 12mm to 150mm. Motions are searchable by both Korean and English name, with the 12 most used at the top of the list. You can also give a character different motions at different points on the timeline.
Which 3D STUDIO actions use credits?
Credits apply in two places. Building a scene from a written description costs 150 credits for 5 seconds on both Claude Fable 5.1 and GPT 6 Astra (110 plus 8 per second, 5 seconds minimum), and attaching reference photos adds at least 5 credits per photo. Exporting a 3D file costs 500 credits each.
Can I open the scene in other 3D software?
Use File then Export to output GLB, USD or USDZ. These open in programs such as Blender or Maya. Each export costs 500 credits.
How do I use the reference video?
From the File menu choose Send to video tab or Send to canvas node, pick a resolution, and you land in that tab with the mp4 saved alongside. Resolutions are 480p, 720p and 1080p. Clip length is set on the timeline between 2 and 30 seconds.
Why is the reference video grey?
Official guidance says a rough form carries blocking, movement and camera work better. Material and lighting are better described in writing. If you want colour, you can choose it when you export.
